Historical Renovation
This picture is one of the rooms of a home that Down Under Construction Services performed an entire historical renovation on. As featured on our local Fox News Channel 13, this beauty is a restored Historical 1925 estate in the heart of Old Northeast, St. Petersburg. We were able to restore many of the home's architectural features, including the wood floors, the built in’s, and the antique windows and arched doorways. We were thrilled to be a part of this significant historical restoration.
Restore But Keep Its History
This picture is of the restored bathroom. We installed a hexagon floor tile with a matching stone tile going halfway up the wall. We built a partial wall for the shower and matching tile on the shower walls and floor. The sink is topped with a granite counter. We were even able to restore the original built-in medicine cabinet. You can see more about this historical home renovation here.
Cute and Stylish Space
This bathroom remodel in the picture to the right, was part of a whole home remodel in St. Petersburg. For the bathroom remodel, our clients wanted a light and bright atmosphere with a nautical feel to it. We installed shiplap on the walls and a contrasting dark and light color scheme throughout.
Crisp White Cabinetry
In this kitchen remodel, new countertops of granite along with crisp white cabinetry were installed. We were able to utilize two of the existing cabinets and removed the panels from the front and replaced them with glass fronts for an open feel. A tile backsplash was installed and the backsplash band was continued to the kitchen stove hood for continuity. We built a wall to accommodate the microwave oven in the corner and the refrigerator. We also built a half wall to accommodate the wine cooler that our clients purchased. A beautiful and open kitchen with everything our clients desired.
Below are pictures of the Old Northeast kitchen remodel that we finished in St. Petersburg. New cabinetry, appliances, and solid surface countertops with a subtle blue tile backsplash lend itself to a cheerful open look in the kitchen.
