One of the custom homes featured on the existing DUCS Indian Rocks Beach page was designed around a luxurious Mediterranean-villa aesthetic. The project incorporated specialty wall treatments, a copper kitchen ceiling, repeated arches and stone flooring.
The living areas carried the architectural theme through arched openings, a custom-built entertainment center and an arched front entry with decorative ironwork.

The Mediterranean project extended its detailing to the rear porch, where DUCS incorporated a brick indoor/outdoor see-through fireplace, dark-stained hardwood ceilings, custom exterior railings and stone flooring.
These details help the exterior living space feel like part of the architecture rather than an afterthought — an especially important consideration for coastal Florida homes.

Its kitchen uses a dark-stained hardwood ceiling, custom white cabinetry and detailed molding. A large center window and additional windows help open the room and take advantage of the water view, while custom beveled-glass inserts add another layer of detail.
